Hi! We're Sarah and Raven, registered dietitians and the creators of Wholesome In A Hurry. Our passion is making healthy eating approachable and delicious. With conflicting nutrition information all around us, we know just how confusing healthy eating can seem. We're here to demystify nutrition science and healthy cooking to help you feel confident in making nourishing meals that are easy, fast, and really tasty.
As dietitians, we're passionate about nutrition and, as friends, we enjoy turning that nutrition knowledge into flavorful balanced meals. We first began cooking together as a way to test out new recipes that we wanted to try. With our busy lifestyles, our recipes had to be quick and easily prepped. We also wanted them to be nutritionally balanced to support our health. Last, and most importantly, we wanted them to be yummy! We know that the key to a healthy lifestyle is creating sustainable habits, and if we like the food we make, we're much more likely to stick with our healthy eating habits.
In the beginning, we didn't write down our recipes and quickly realized we needed to start compiling them and making notes so we could recreate them. Having all these recipes handy made cooking for ourselves so much less stressful on busy weeks. We realized that if these recipes could be helpful for us, they could help others too! After testing, re-testing, and putting lots of different recipes together, we were ready to share them with the world, to hopefully make healthy eating easier and more enjoyable for everyone. And, voila, Wholesome In A Hurry was born!
